Matt Avery Featured In 'Destination Brevard' Video Celebrating Camaro Pacecars

Updated: Apr 21, 2023

Popular online Florida tourism publication, 'Destination Brevard', has featured Matt Avery in a new video interview, catching up with the automotive author and historian at the American Muscle Car Museum in Melbourne.

Joined by the museum's Operations and Restoration Manager, Ed Dedick, Matt kicks off the conversation with details about Mecum Auction's nearby Kissimmee event, the largest collector car auction in the world, including a spotlight on his personal favorite: a trio of rare 1950s Chevrolet El Moroccos.

Matt also shares insight into his current research project, documenting a variety of special edition Camaros for his new book, including a select few on this recent trip to the museum. The gathering was made up of Indy 500 celebratory vehicles, including one of the lowest mileage 1982 Camaro pace car replicas, a rare 1969 Z10 Camaro coupe and a 1993 Camaro and Silverado pairing.
