STORY: Matt documented the first numbered car of the run, DH #01, onsite at the historic Berger Chevrolet during the dealership's 23rd Annual All GM Show, in August 2022. It was on display & and paired with DH Supercar #30, seen in the above photo with the grouping referred to as the 'Bookend Pair'.

The car was built for Larry Leatherman who campaigned a 1969 Camaro ZL1. Larry was also one of the automotive personalities who signed the engine bays of the 30 cars in the production run.
It is custom painted in 2005 Cadillac 'Red Line' and is the only DH Supercar equipped with a polished air intake and powder-coated valve covers.
The vehicle was present for the GMMG Legends display at the 2022 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals, the largest gathering of these vehicles since they were new.

STORY: This GM show car was assembled by the GM Performance Division and toured at events like the Woodward Dream Cruise.
The blue and yellow design took inspiration from the 1969 Camaro Z/28 Trans Am #06 racecar campaigned by Penske Racing, sponsored by Sunoco and driven by Mark Donohue.
​
The 4th-gen tribute featured a wide-body treatment including a large cowl-induction hood and rear spoiler. It was powered by a 427ci V8 and equipped with a stripped-down interior fitted with a yellow roll cage, Sparco racing seats, and carbon fiber dash inserts. The engine bay was also painted flat black.
Other performance upgrades included drilled brake rotors, side-exiting exhaust and FIKSE wheels. Many of these components made their way to the GMMG run of Berger Supercars: Dick Harrell Edition Camaros.

The location of this showcar is unknown with reports that it was sold out of the GM Heritage Collection during General Motor's 2009 bankruptcy.

STORY: Matt has documented the single convertible that was given the wide-body treatment twice. The vehicle is a factory 35th Anniversary Edition and the only Camaro related to the DHE program to receive a 5XR 454ci LSX V8 upgrade.

Per the original owner's request, the car was commissioned and equipped with 20-inch MHT Forged M10 wheels with redline Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Upon leaving GMMG, it did not have the DH graphics (see image below) and lacks signatures under the hood from the build team.​​
For an appearance at Berger's Chevrolet's 24th Annual All GM Show, the car was updated with package-correct FIKSE wheels, airbox BSDHE graphic, and profile and hood cowl carbon-simulated graphics.

In late 2023, Matt revisited the vehicle for a site visit to document it in its updated and package-correct form (image above).

The 2002 Berger Supercar Dick Harrell Edition Camaro was a limited edition 2002 Chevrolet Camaro offered by Berger Chevrolet of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The cars were heavily modified by the performance shop, GMMG, of Marietta, Georgia, featuring a radical wide-body treatment along with numerous engine upgrades.
The package name paid tribute to drag racer, Dick Harrell, who was well-known for his competition efforts in the 1960s using Chevrolet vehicles.

After two prototypes (labeled PR1 & PR2), a production run of 30 cars (numbered #1-30) was created. These 32 vehicles are identified by the collection of automotive personality signatures located around the engine bay, including GMMG owner, Matt Murphy.
An additional prototype (PR3) and two related or 'non-program vehicles' (NPVs - a 'clay car' and convertible) were also built by the GMMG team for an employee and customer.
